Sir,

I have the honour to submit the following report on the recent disturbances which originated in a quarrel between coolies from the Jung Koon and Ize Yap districts in the Canton Province. There is a long standing feud between these two factions, but there has been no serious collision between them in this Colony in recent years.

The coolies from the two districts are principally employed in this Colony as cargo coolies...
